With over a quarter of a century in business behind us, Grandon Car Sales is Ireland's top selling Fiat and Alfa Romeo dealership. The business has achieved this position because of the service and customer attention philosophy that has been key to the business set up in 1975 by Maria and Martin Grandon. The business continues to be family run with son Ken now managing the recently acquired Peugeot franchise for cars and light commercial vehicles.
The business began selling all makes of New and Used cars. In 1982 they were appointed a Fiat Main Dealer and subsequently a Fiat Light Commercial Dealer. They took on the Alfa Romeo franchise in 1996, and are the sole Alfa Romeo Dealers for the Cork City and County Area.
With two extensions to the premises during 1998 and 1999 Grandons increased both the showroom and service areas and now offers the comfort and service of the largest and most modern dealerships in the country.
Since 1975 Grandons has built up a loyal customer base for used cars. To satisfy the requirements of these customers and offer them an increased level of service Grandons will open a specialist used car centre on a 2-acre site adjacent to the Glanmire premises in the near future. This new Grandon's Auto Village will open 7 days a week and as a "One Stop Shop" for all motoring needs it will provide services such as Finance, Insurance Cover, Body Repairs, Spray Painting and Valeting.
The new development will also encompass a display for the extensive Peugeot and Fiat light commeccial vehicle ranges, from car derived vans to long wheel base 1.5 tonne vans and chassis cabs.
